This project aimed to understand my thought process and ability to apply design concepts practically in furniture design. The goal was to create a small-space-friendly furniture collection for a modern U.S. home, following Scandinavian design principles of simplicity, functionality, and warmth.
Designed a three-piece living room collection consisting of a coffee table, a console table, and a side table. The collection emphasizes minimal aesthetics, natural materials, and intuitive usability. Each piece was designed to be flat-pack friendly, easy to assemble, and proportioned to suit compact living environments.
The collection was conceptualized and sketched within 24 hours as part of a timed design challenge. I later refined the 3D models, renders, and animations to better communicate the overall design language and materiality. The focus remained on clean lines, balanced proportions, and a cohesive visual identity across all three furniture pieces.
